Description
Let yourself be enchanted by the magic, beauty and power of four magnificent waterfalls, all hidden away off the beaten track. They lay at the edge of the highlands and we can explore them on easy hikes. On the drive we observe the rural life of Iceland with the many horses and sheep.
Our first stop is Hrafnabjargafoss, a manyfold waterfall which is seldom visited but impresses visitors every time. The next stop is Aldeyjarfoss which, with its intriguing basalt columns, is said to be the beauty amongst the waterfalls. From there we walk along the river to a tiny beautiful waterfall - what a surprising contrast. On our way back we stop at the famous waterfall Goðafoss, the waterfall of the Gods.
