Hop on this tour to the world famous Lake Mývatn area - all that makes Iceland so unique can be experienced within a few hours. Powerful waterfall, characteristic volcanoes, geothermal hot area, nature spa.
On the way to Mývatn our first stop will be the beautifully shaped Goðafoss. It played an important role in the adoption of Christianity. In Mývatn we will visit the pseudocraters where the American astronauts trained, the dark cities full of unique lava-pillars and home to our yule lads, then we can hop over from the European plate to the American plate at the continental drift. Afterwards we move on to the high temperature field where we see bubbling mud pools and fumaroles and smell sulphur all around.
